| Description: | The trout season opens in Oregon but the fish have a day off as hundreds of daring boatmen run the rolling rapids of the McKenzie River annual white water boat parade. This seems to the people who live in Oregon a proper way to open trout season. About 120 vessels make their way down this turbulent river. All kinds of boats on this rainy day on the McKenzie River. Every kind of craft that floats is on the river including one with a parasol, I guess to keep the rain off of the people in the boat. MS - One boater goes by in a square row boat but the river is so turbulent it flips the boat and the oarsman into the drink. POV - The camera man is sitting on the middle seat of the boat and takes a picture of the oarsman trying to keep the row boat steady and not flipping over. MS - Some guys in a boat go by and is caught in a swell of a wave, the wave breaks and they get swamped MS - Four guys come by in a raft and they ride the swells and turbulence of the rive with ease. MS - One lone rafter comes along and somehow he manages to stay a float. MLS - Of the McKenzie River and the 25 or so fishermen in their row boats. | |
