LS Frogman struggles out of water into dinghy in sea. He begins to bale water out of dinghy. MS Wessex helicopter at R.A.F. Acklington and pilot and navigator climb aboard. CU Helicopter blade begins to revolve pan round to show rest of helicopter. LS Helicopter lifts off and flies away. Pan up to follow it. It passes out of frame. CU Int. helicopter R.A.F. officers looking out at ground below. T.S. Stranded pilot in dinghy pulling out his beacon his aerial springs out. CU Hand holding Sarbe beacon. CU Battery cell being soldered at the Vidor factory in South Shields. CU Group of cells being soldered. LS Factory girls at work soldering cells. MS Girls soldering cells (group of) she wipes cells. MS Another woman tying up cells in groups. CU Woman soldering and then assembling cells into group ready to put into Beacon pack she picks up holder and pushes batteries into it.
