| Description: | At Granite City, Illinois, the Sisters of St. Elizabeth's Hospital use scooters to make their nursing rounds. The innovation was made necessary by the growing lengths of the corridors in the expanding institution. Establishing shot - A nun dressed in all white on a battery powered motor scooter, in a large hospital. MS - Same nun disembarking from an elevator on her motor scooter, she pulls up to a nursing station and looks over a medical chart with another sister. MS - Through an open door a regular nurse attending to the needs of a patient, the nurse walks out of the patients room and get's on the motor scooter. MS - One of the 'nurse' nuns giving a little black child a ride on the motor scooter, and off they go down the corridor. | |
