CUS - The coast guard cutter Pontchartrain maintains a vigil ready to swing into action when the big plane sets down. View from deck of the cutter - Off in a distance you can hardly see the plane as it is landing in the ocean but you do see a huge amount of water mounting in the sea as it sets down. Off the deck of the cutter - Life boat rowing towards the plane that 3/4's of the plane's fuselage sticking out of the water.
