| Description: | 6902 Tape 1 SECRETS OF STRENGTH - SAXSON (sic) BROWN FAMOUS YOUNG STRONG MAN M/S of Saxon Brown dressed in a little gladiator style skirt and lace up sandals. He stands behind a piece of wood balanced on two trestles. He explains to the audience that he is going to knock a four inch nail through and inch and a half plank. He takes a piece of cloth and rolls it up to protect his hand. He says: "The chief part about this feat is to get it half way through with one blow." He bangs the nail in with the palm of his hand - ouch! C/U of the nail embedded in the plank. Saxon says: "You now just give it a few gentle taps" - he whacks it with some force. "Then, if you have very strong teeth, you can pull it out again like this. He pulls it out with his teeth. Saxon then shows us how to tear a pack of cards in half - it all depends on the wrist action. Saxon then shows the audience how to crush an apple in his hand. C/U of the apple being crushed. C/U of his hands as he says: "Here is one should win you many a bet - breaking an ordinary pin." He explains the easy way of doing it. | |
