Food is offered to Malcolm Macdonald. Various shots of General Keighley, Malcolm Macdonald and Sir Anthony Abell eating and drinking at the ceremony. Good C/Us of people in native dress with elaborate headdresses. C/U of man in traditional dress, pan down to show ceremonial sword. Various shots of the ceremony - the visiting dignitaries are given cups to drink from. L/S of marching band with crowds marching. A union jack flag is seen flying from the top of the Governor's official residence. C/Us of women and children watching the ceremony. Malcolm Macdonald stands beside them. Buglers play as the flag is lowered. Various shots of people present at the ceremony - some in traditional dress. The Governor inspects the natives (it says here).
