"What with all the walks and walkers in the Big City, it's tough to be a pup nowadays - " Various shots from knee down of crowds walking this way and that on wide city sidewalk. The sights at this low level also include a dog and a baby carriage. Next, closer slow-motion shots of feet walking. (Also a good chance to check out late 1920s shoe styles!) LS several flamingos walking to rt. on their stick legs. Cut back to pedestrians. "A human river, a living striding threat to every pup without ears and eyes on every whisker." Man's shabby shoes and trousers standing against building; he reaches down and sets a toy bird on the sidewalk. The mechanical bird (which actually looks fairly real!) starts pecking and skidding around in a funny way. The guy retrieves the bird & sets another one down. | |
