| Description: | GAZETTE “Belgium. Since the 14th Century. Burgomaster and townspeople of Grammont celebrate raising the siege of the town with this extraordinary festival - cakes and wine with live fish!” Grammont, Belgium. People gather on hillside in Grammont. Procession walks up steep steps up side of the hill. Men in military uniforms and carrying flags lead the parade. CU baskets of round cakes being carried up for the celebration. The bizarre part: Wine is poured into glass with live fish flipping around in it. Various people drink from the glass, at least one looks to drink a fish. These civic people look rather silly. Several pull faces as the fish move around. Cakes are thrown to the crowd. | |
