| Description: | Ski Fliers Norwegians again sweep the field as the lads on slats fly through the air. On a tricky, artificially packed slope, the spills are frequent and painful. Blocks of ice is trucked in and put into a ice crusher. After the ice is crushed then it is applied with a big hose on the slope for down-hill skiing and jumping. It must be a warm, dry snowless winter in Lake Placid, New York. | |
