In the Garonne Valley in France we see various shots of an Anglo-French Paratroop exercise. Paratroops drop to the ground, helicopters transport guns and Land Rovers. Troops run across open ground. British and French officers watch. Paratroops roll down a hill. Soldiers fire machine guns. At the Presidential estate of Rambouillet Castle in France we see Prime Minister Harold Macmillan and President De Gaulle standing on banks of the lake with Lady Dorothy, Madame De Gaulle and assistants. The two men shake hands. Commentator says they discussed the Common Market and the new defense situation if there is to be no Skybolt.
