High angle views of Cape Town. "... above all their majesties' visit had been a token of the interdependence of two great nations." The royal party leave. CU of the Queen and of the King - he wears naval uniform. C/U of the two Princesses. The family boards HMS Vanguard and it leaves port. Views of crowds gathered to wave them off and of the family on deck. Crew of the Vanguard give three cheers and wave their hats. L/S of Vanguard at sea.
