| Description: | The next group is a bunch of young men in shorts with no shirts who come running onto the square carrying sticks. They do somersaults, twirl the sticks like batons, fence with them, etc.. These guys and their female counterparts all perform another mass drill - this one includes guys holding up tree branches and swaying them back and forth. They do "wave" like movements. Then some of the group form a pyramid. A row of couples come running/dancing onto square and perform another very energetic folk dance . CU STalin applauding. Various shots as the tree branch group and the dancers go marching off. Ends with another shot of float with the couple posing like statues on top of building. Low angle ms of them (same as opening shot). | |
