Woman wears traditional dress, has a great white fan in her hand and black veil. Man wears a white shirt, black waistcoat, black tie and Spanish style top hat. L/S of the people enjoying the music. M/S of the faces of the two girls sitting on a bench. All the girls have long dark hair, red lipstick and large earrings. One of the girls, Maya, starts dancing vigorously and with passion. Her skirts flies high up in the air. L/S of the girl dancing. M/S of Maya dancing, she looks very passionately involved. Her hands and her skirt are up in the air for most of the time. Maya finishes and others give her warm applause. Voiceover reveals that this is happening in London. English couple fell in love with Spain and decided to create a little Spanish corner in Hampstead. L/S of the Spanish party having fun. This time a couple starts dancing. C/U shot of the girl dancer's face (Maria de Cordoba) reveals great joy. High angle shot of the couple dancing. C/U shot of the faces of the couple on veranda. They are the house owners, Audrey and Hubert Engert. Cut back to the party. C/U of the woman's hands playing castanets. Voiceover tells that this is traditional Torres and Cordoba dancing and the male dancer is famous Pietro Torres. Pietro starts dancing with Maya now. Follows succession of shots of the show. Shots of dancing are juxtaposed with several C/U shots of dancers and guitarist. The atmosphere is very passionate and colourful. | |
