| Description: | "SPINNERS" (VAN HORN AND INEZ) Roller skating partners Van Horn & Inez put on a roller skate/dance exhibition. LS tilt down at VH & I skating on a 10' wooden square on stage. They are spinning around, she balancing on rt. leg with the left leg and left arm held out to side. He is leaning back with bent knees, holding onto her outstretched arm and leg. Suddenly she lifts her other leg off the floor and he continues to spin, swinging her around in the air. After spinning round and round in some pretty strange positions she touches the floor again and, both on their feet, they slow down and strike a pose. Next, they do a similar spin; this time she starts out in a sort of arabesque with right leg raised behind her. He holds onto the rt. leg and her left arm and again sweeps her off her feet! This time she's spinning in a position parallel to the floor, and he lifts her up and down for extra dramatic effect. He spins in squatting position while swinging her around just inches from the floor. Slow-motion MLS of last stunt. LS tilt down: the pair now start to spin while facing each other, he holding onto her arms and she holding onto a twisted cord around his neck. As they increase speed, she lifts her feet again and then he lets go of her arms, and while he continues to turn she hangs from his neck by the cord, now untwisting, and twirls around at a dizzying speed. | |
