Next; boys attempt to run up a tall and very steep slope; but the first few slide back down. This looks like boot camp for children. Then a boy runs up high enough to grasp the top and pull himself over. Another boy makes it; too. Cool shot; looking up at a boy in dark cadet uniform standing high up on the prow of a ship (?); doing signals with 2 flags; a sort of statue of a winged venus is attached to the prow and sticks off to left of the kid at an angle--bizarre.
