When Jeff Chandler, star of U-I's movie 'The Iron Man', tangles with heavyweight champ Jersey Joe Walcott in an exhibition bout at the Polo Grounds, the fans get an exciting preview of an exciting ring picture. Jersey Joe climbs into the makeshift ring. Actor Jeff Chandler smiles into the camera. Walter Winchell in his ringside seat. The competitors shake hands (sort of - they're wearing cloves) before the match. The two men pretend, it seems, to box. After the match, Walcott holds up and kisses a tiny trophy.
