Their gift ideas range from a pocket watch to a motorcar. CU of several of the boys. One of the boys says that he would like Santa Claus to bring him his mother for Christmas. A bagpipe band leads Father Christmas in to the playground. He is pushing a trolley loaded with Christmas presents. The boys run to the trolley and make off with their gifts. [Dr. Thomas John Barnardo established a home for destitute boys in 1870, and founded almost 100 by the time of his death in 1905.] | |
