| Description: | NO AUDIO In one of the great defensive battles in pro-football this season, the St. Louis Cardinals and Dallas Cowboys play to a ten-ten tie. One touchdown each and a field goal apiece knot the score. Both try tie breaking field goals and miss in the dying seconds. In 1966 the Cowboys posted their first winning record and playoff appearance (10-3-1, beginning an NFL-record 20 consecutive winning seasons), and sent eight players to the Pro Bowl, including Hayes, Howley, Meredith, Perkins, and future Pro Football Hall of Fame members Lilly and Renfro. Establishing shot - Interior of the football stadium there is nothing shown to identify the stadium or location. High Angle Shot - No 12 Cardinal has the ball, passes it and No 27 catches it and goes deep into Dallas territory. High Angle Shot - No 12 Cardnil has the ball and passes it for a touchdown to No 40. High Angle Shot - Dallas has the ball, No 17 and throws right into the goal area and it is caught by No 35. High Angle Shot - First and Goal, the ball is handed off to No 30 and he runs it in for a touchdown. Dallas 10 Cardinals 7. High Angle Shot - The Cardinals have the ball and it is punted, by No 25. The ball is within field goal range and the Cardinals try for it. I do not know if they made the goal. High Angle Shot - Dallas has the ball on a run back, No 11 has the ball. High Angle Shot - Dallas kicker comes out and nails a field goal. High Angle Shot - The Cardinals have the ball and they try to score by a field goal and kick and miss. The game ends up in a tie. | |
