A church door opens and St. Nicholas with two of his companions walks out. St. Nicholas followed by his companions and a number of 'devils' walking through the village. Nice shot of the procession passing by one of the town's historic churches, with the mountains in the background ( the Lienzer Dolomiten). Sots of the devils dancing along in the procession. Santa knocks on a door and a woman with children. The children make the sign of the cross and receive a piece of paper, and each receives what appears to be an apple. Shots of the devil procession dancing. One child puts his thumb to his nose and waggles his fingers. He is scooped up and deposited in the basket one of the devils carries on his back. The procession goes away with the bad child in the basket. | |
