| Description: | STANELLI Stanelli does impersonations with his violin, while his incompetent sidekick, Jim Emery, provides the comedy. London Presenting Stanelli (of 'Stag Party' fame) and Jim Emery. Item opens with violinist, Stanelli, playing serious tune. C/U of Stanelli as he gives comic monologue and does impression of cow using violin. He is about to launch into solo piece when he is interrupted by his sidekick, Jim Emery. Emery plays part of slow-witted butler. He brings Stanelli a glass of beer. Stanelli sends Emery off on lots of joke errands (he sends him down to Brighton to bring back a wave!). Stanelli then does an impression of an accordion. He sticks his violin between the horsehair and wood of the bow to create the noise of the accordion. Emery returns having been sent off to get Stanelli some change. Instead Emery brings back fish and chips. Stanelli chases him off set, threatening to bash him on the head with his violin. | |
