Producer Reginald Smith enters and asks Dougie to draw a caricature of him. Various shots of Reginald modelling for Dougie. Reginald pays him a halfpenny for the finished drawing. Nan enters with her Scottie dog, Bartie and asks Dougie to draw her and her pet. Half way through drawing, a waiter brings Dougie a glass of beer. On seeing the final result, Nan slaps Dougie's face. Two boy scouts enter collecting waste paper for war effort, Dougie gives them the picture of Nan. | |
