| Description: | SUNDAY BEST Rhinelanders on their way to church. Various shots of smartly dressed churchgoers in their Sunday Best. Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany LS men and women walking on country road. The men are dressed in quite ordinary suits and hats. The women wear long skirts,short velvet jackets with many small buttons, and little straw hats perched on top of their heads. MS pan along row of young women posing for camera. MCU pan on the girls. MS pan with 2 elderly women in dark clothing and bonnets striding up village street. MS pan with young woman walking up street, carrying bouquet, keeping her eye on the camera & smiling. She wears white blouse with puffed sleeves, dark vest and skirt, and the same type of bonnet as the old ladies. Title says the different styles of hats represent the parishoners' home districts. MS pan on another old lady approaching & passing: this one is wearing an odd hat covered with large fuzzy looking balls! MS pan on woman hurrying past holding hand of small boy c. age 3.
