| Description: | SWEETS FOR THE SWEET Making Marzipan Candy (almond paste). MCU kitchen table, can see arms & waist of woman behind it. She weighs some powder (ground almonds) on kitchen scales, then pours it into bowl. She weighs & adds 2 types of sugar. CU she mixes dry ingredients in the bowl, using her hands. She cracks an egg & separates it, adding only yolk. She slices lemon in half, uses lemon juicer, adds 2 tsp. She adds drops from 3 different bottles (vanilla etc.). She kneads this mixture (some of this looks like she could be making bread) then sprinkles flour on board, then gets all sides of the hunk of marzipan coated w/ flour. Now she uses the marzipan to make different kinds of candy, Marzipan Potatoes, rolled in chocolate powder, Walnut Kisses w/ bits of the nuts stuck in & rolled in sugar, Stuffed Cherries. CU her hand arranging candies in little glass dishes. CU rather obnoxious-looking little girl eating candy. Title saying send SASE to Pathe to get recipe.
