MLS man traveling towards and past camera. MLS Same man; he falls and skids to a standstill. CS the Ski Rescue man as he sees accident and runs out of frame. MS Man running to telephone at S.O.S. Station.; phone is inside a metal cylinder. MCU the rescue worker speaking into phone. MCS the fallen skier lying on ground grimacing in pain. MS Two S.O.S. men carrying their skis and grabbing a stretcher mounted on skis MS man putting skis on beside the stretcher. MS the two rescuers starting off down the slope with stretcher, one in front of it and one behind it. MLS pan with the two traveling down the slope and arriving by the casualty. They start to take off their skis. MS One of them having taken off his skis stands them up and walks over to casualty. He bends over and starts to remove the man's skis. MS The two of them removing victim's skis. MCS.One man gently lifts casualty's leg and places it down on the snow. CS Casualty is given a drink (of brandy?). Pan as he hands bottle back to one of his rescuers. MLS the SOS team kneel beside casualty. MCS.Binding a splint under his leg and binding his feet together MCU The 'casualty' looking on. CU Tying the final bandage which holds his legs together in the splint. MLS as they finish tying bandage; tilt up to long view of mountain. MS the two men lifting casualty onto stretcher. MS Placing blanket over him. MCS.Placing blanket over him. MLS They start to put their skis on again. MCS.One of the men fitting his skis. He takes hold of the stretcher ready for the journey.
