This film, shot by Roy Cooper for KTVT News, tells the story of a deer loose in Ft. Worth. MS several white men standing by rural road, one fella with rope in hand. TLS young deer with short horns nibbling grass by side of house. TLSs man standing in bed of truck, throwing lasso around deer. MS deer fighting rope, a steel chain already around its neck. MS two Ft. Worth police officers (animal control?) trying to tire the buck, who appears to be surrounded by bags of garbage. Quick TLS group of teenagers leaning against grille of car. MSs deer fighting, police officers pulling & reeling rope. MS exhausted deer falling to ground, staying down. MSs police officers hog-tying the deer, dragging him to Dodge pickup truck, loading him onto bed, closing door. CU young teenage boy wearing ski cap. TLS/MSs pickup with deer in payload driving away, making turn, driving down remote dirt road. MS deer struggling to get free. CU Texas Parks & Wildlife Department seal on side of truck.
