Historical recreation of a king looking at a sundial & a woman sitting in front of a fire. Diagrams showing the rise in taxes. Diagram of shoes, stating that shoes were taxed by their length until they were so long the shoes curled back to the ankles. Finally, the commentator show how we do it today. L/S's of a man walking into a tax office. One man walks out having just paid his taxes, he is not wearing a shirt. The joke is that they took the shirt off his back. He approaches a man at desk and claims he wants to pay his taxes for next month. Not believing his ears the tax officer promptly stares at him in disbelief and faints. | |
