Description:TEDDY TINGLING HOLIDAY FASHIONS A preview of Teddy Tinling's latest outlandish designs inspired by his travels abroad.

Oxford St., London.

M/S over the shoulder of Teddy Tinling, fashion designer, as he studies one of his later designs. In front of him is a table covered in foreign post cards and a yellow straw hat. L/S of the same scene. Tinling sitting on a sofa beside two smartly dressed men and a woman - his assistants. Behind them stands a rack of dresses. Tinling appears to be talking about the design he is holding and at one point indicates to a large gaudily coloured raffia basket one of the men is holding. The man picks up the basket and walks out of shot. M/S of a sophisticated brunette model - Sevilla Glass-Hooper - posing for the group on the sofa. She is wearing "an outfit called beach ball" which consists of a tall black hat with a large multicoloured brim and matching striped tapered trousers. The man hands her the gaudy basket which she hangs over her shoulder and turns to display the outfit. Panning shot of outfit starting with the hat and moving downwards. C/U of basket hanging by the models legs. This outfit was inspired by the beach basket, a souvenir from Australia. Panning shot to illustrate the similarity of the colours. C/U of the models hat, head and shoulders. Tilt down to waist. M/S of Sevilla exiting. C/U of fashion design - a billowing coat patterned with large turquoise and purple diamonds. The design is held in one hand while in the other is a post card of Spanish girls in national dress to highlight the influence of this design - "an idea borrowed from the traditional peasant costumes of yesterday". C/U of woman on the sofa looking and discussing this design. C/U of Tinling as he turns to see the next model. M/S of second model, this time a blonde - Gillian Henderson - emerging from gauzy curtains in previously described "balloon coat". Gillian turns elegantly to display dress. C/U of rim of coat. Tilt up to models head. Gillian unbuttons coat to reveal strapless white dress decorated with diagonal stripes in mauve and turquoise. M/S of Gillian exiting. C/U of Tinling. C/U of white coral necklace from Fiji. A woman's hand picks the necklace up to display it to the camera. M/S of Tinling, the woman and one of the men on the sofa, discussing a design and looking towards the gauzy curtains. M/S of a third, once again brunette model - Claire Holmes - emerging from the curtains. She is dressed in a vibrant orange dress with a purple flowing "cocktail dress in nylon organza". The creation is decorated with white raffia and china beads. She is wearing a long string of beads similar to those from Fiji. Claire pirouettes to show off flouncy coat. C/U of model's lower body. Tilt down to feet. C/U of intricate beading on the dress and jacket. M/S of third model exiting. M/S of Tinling and his companions on the sofa. M/S of forth model - Patrice Clarkeson - swishing through the curtains, dressed in a creation named "satellite" - "Teddy Tinling's personal contribution to the international geophysical year". She wears a puffy black and red bouffant skirt decorated in enormous swirling galaxies, gold and silver ringed planets and sparkly shooting stars! C/U of skirt. Patrice turns to reveal more shimmering planets, moons and stars before making her exit. C/U of black and gold trouser suit design drawn in pencil. Held next to it is post card of Manhattan's sky line as if to compare them. M/S of Claire re-emerging, this time wearing the design of a black tunic and knee length trousers decorated with "ten thousand" gold sequins in the pattern of skyscrapers - "Manhattan Madness". Claire turns and picks up a book and turns again to face the sofa. M/S of the group on the sofa. Narrator reveals that an entire wall of Tinling's flat is decorated with a blown up photograph of New York. M/S of Patrice entering, this time wearing a cropped puffy jacket and microscopic hot pants. The jacket is patterned with a "Honolulu print" designed by Shaheen - "the Picasso of the South Seas". M/S of sofa. M/S of Sevilla reappearing wearing "a matador type outfit" - a sombrero, red shirt tasselled trousers. C/U of the model's head. Tilt down to rest of outfit. C/U of tassels. The design was inspired by a bath mat Tinling noticed in a Swiss hotel. M/S of Gillian wearing a flowery, flared jacket and matching swim suit called "High Summer". C/U of Gillian removing jacket to reveal swimsuit. According to Tinling the colour of the outfit is reminiscent of a Mediterranean summer!
