	Description:	"Thames-Side Beauty Spot - Riverdale Gardens opened by Mayor of Richmond". Richmond-on-Thames, Greater London. The Mayor speaks. Seated behind him are various civic dignitaries. The Mayor names the gardens 'Riverdale Gardens'. Various cut aways to show the River Thames and parts of the gardens and 'Mere Walk' (sp?). Alderman Mere rises to thank the Mayor for naming the 'Walk' after him. The Alderman has helped with the funding of the work. N.B. Item found in Unidentified Gazettes reel. Presumably from 1930s Gazettes. Possibly 1935.
