Joan Crawford presents Maximillian Shell with Best the Best Actor statuette, and Rhea Carson accepts the Best Actress award on behalf of Sophia Loren from Burt Lancaster. Hollywood has a great year and 'West Side Story' topped them all with Robert Weiss accepting a statue from Fred Astaire. WS of packed auditorium.
