Pongo is goofing around with props when he is summoned to General Manager's office. The Boss is seen as shadow of stereotypical fat man smoking pipe, w/ feet up on desk. He tells Pongo "All the staff are away with flu or crossword puzzleitis, so you will have to make up this week's news film." Pongo has various troubles setting up camera and tripod. The finished product has an unlikely combination of big stories, some of which are pretty unlikely on their own "Lloyd George Swims the Channel" w/ alternating huge waves bouncing up a cartoon Lloyd George in striped swimsuit and a guy in a rowboat. "Cup Tie Final Match" wide shot drawing of football field with players battling. Pongo is seen grinning. "England Wins the Boat Race" Cartoon shakycam shot tilting back and forth. "The Finish Mortlake Brewery / P.S. the winners beat the losers by several pints." Drawings of brewery sliding down the screen - like when vertical needs adjustment. "The Grand National" - 2 horses running - even spoofs slo-mo sections ("our Ultra Rabid Camera") Horses fall over hedge, one rider lands in water, the other lands under horse.
