| Description: | THE AIR DARE DEVILS Stunt men perform on the wings of aircraft in flight. Air to air shot of biplane flying rather low over city. Stuntman climbing up onto top wing and stands up there while another hangs upside down from the wing, then flips over onto the lower wing. Hangs upside down again w/ his legs wrapped round pole. Next, both stuntsmen hang from loops on either side of wing. Great shot, really close, of one guy hanging from axle while the other sits in center of top wing, so that they & the plane are in cross shape. More stunts on top of plane incl the 2 crazy guys crawling toward each other & meeting in center. Nice shot of plane flying over shining water w/ the 2 guys standing on top- -dramatic. These shot from camera on top of wing. One of the stuntsmen climbs up onto wing, does a sort of headstand variation, then stands up and starts to walk toward camera like "Look Ma, no hands!" This looks very dangerous! Seeing it up close makes it seem more real and scary. MLS he sits down in ctr. of wing, blows kiss to camera & grins like a maniac, which he obviously is. MS pilot and stuntsmen pose beside plane, talking & smiling. Aviation, balance. | |
