L/S of crowds gathered around the gate to Buckingham Palace, two cars are seen driving through the gates and down the Mall. Panning shot follows a man in a bowler hat as he strides purposefully through the Palace gates, he passes a policeman who appears to give him directions. Panning shot follows three men in top hats as they walk out of the Palace gates. Various shots of more men walking through the Palace gates, they are watched by a crowd of onlookers, journalists and press photographers. M/S of Winston Churchill M.P. in the back of an open topped car being driven through the Palace gates. Another version of the same story follows - shots are the same or very similar to the original. There are more shots of politicians coming and going through the Palace gates, some on foot, some in cars. Some shots show press photographers leaping in front of the M.P.s as they come and go - captures the excitement and sense of occasion very well. M/S of a man in a top hat walking through the Palace gates behind a battalion of soldiers in busbies.
