| Description: | THE CULINARY ART Convention/exhibition of London chefs. Chefs attend a display of food art - fabulous creations made from food. London MLS a group of men in dark suits and hats gathered at rt., while at left there is a table with a bunch of various items displayed. Things that don't look like food. MCU incredibly fancy display of hams, truly works of art with garnishes arranged to look like pictures. CU display of lobsters & prawns on a tray with a doll holding a fork like Neptune. MCU cook holding a new invention - a sort of upside down pan with electric coils inside, which is said to cook your food on your plate. He places it over a plate of unidentified food. MCU 2 men look at a palace made of salt. MCU 2 women look at airplane and horse & carriage, also all made of salt. CU display made of fried potatos which really looks like a basket of roses. Finally, a series of shots of sugar models. First there's a CU of a basket of fruits - which may really be what it looks like. Then a middle eastern style sugar palace, with palm trees in front of it. Closer shot of same; man's hand reaches in to point at tiny figure of sheik at top of steps. MS woman looking over another incredible sugar building with many windows & a tower rising from it. Closer shot of this. | |
