| Description: | Edna Squire-Brown performs "The Dance of the Vase". "Lithe and sinuous, slim figured flexible youth, with no bones to speak about, and a dance that goes back to the days when the old Temples were young." Edna performs quite a sexy dance in the Pathe Studio. She holds a glass globe, bending over backwards whilst holding it above her head. The vase seems to have incense inside. Edna performs all kinds of gymnastic feats as she dances - a very flexible woman! It is quite a graceful dance. She wears a sparkly sequined trimmed outfit - bikini style. Her dance is intercut with shots of a Hindu temple (I think) with a shadowy figure sitting meditating on the roof. Some of Edna's poses are almost contortions. Very nice little sequence. | |
