| Description: | "Brooklands. 'The Dynasphere' ... a one-wheel-four-seater. Remarkable invention in spherical locomotion, which, it is claimed, will one day revolutionise modern transport." Brooklands, Surrey. A woman and man sit in the Dynasphere - a strange new form of transport. It is shaped like a large wheel / tire and the driver sits in the middle of it. (Think of a kid riding in an inner tube or a hamster running in a wheel) The woman explains how the vehicle works. She says that the vehicle is good for starting on mud, ice or slime due to the way it works. CU of her hands on the steering wheel as she demonstrates the method of steering the vehicle. Sitting in the wheel she describes how it turns. Shots of the Dynasphere being driven along the track at Brooklands - crowds of people look on in interest. More shots of the vehicle traveling at speed. Though the contraption looks like an oversized tire, it doesn't actually revolve as it moves forward. If it did, the driver would be spinning upside-down like a carnival ride. Instead the vehicle just kind of glides over the flat surface. | |
