LS the sailboats moored in river; shadows of docks etc. in BG. MS tilt down worker on eel boat dumps a net of eels into a container on board in which masses of eels are swimming and squirming about. MLS men working on boat. MCU bucket of eels is dumped into a wooden crate and a wooden divider w/ holes in it is placed over them. Another bucket of eels dumped on top of this. MCU 2 men standing down in the hold, w/ seem to be sorting through the eels in the tank, tossing some to side. Defective eels? LS several men working on boat; head and shoulders of the guy in the hold stick up over leel of deck. Workers by edge of boat, steamer passing in BG. MLS 5 workers sitting on deck talking.
