Shot of bedroom; with old man asleep. A boy tiptoes in; sees the man sleeping;pours some powder on a handkerchief; some gloves and a hair brush; exits. Old man wakes; gets out of bed. Due to sudden cut he instantly zaps into his trousers. He starts to brush his hair; steps into middle of room and sneezes dramatically; causing the painting and mirror to jiggle on the wall. He sneezes again and the bed collapses. Outside on the street; a stand selling all kinds of junk. Old man walks down street (with the boy following); starts to put on gloves; stops in front of stand and starts to sneeze. The boy is laughing and dancing around. Of course things fall down ; the man runs away; and an angry proprietor along with 3 other men give chase; followed by the trickster boy. Shot of a picket fence. The man enters; and so does a policeman. Old man sneezes; causing a lightpole to fall and knock down part of the fence and the cop; who lies there kicking his legs. The crowd runs up; they all -about 10 guys-- run toward camera.The boy follows. Old man runs in front of house; sneezes knock door down; a lady runs out; he sneezes; her hair flies off. Crowd chases him through park; sneeze makes frame rock back & forth; he holds onto pole (this is like the earth shaking, trippy, unstable. interesting shot for the time) . Next sneeze; he disappears in a puff of smoke. | |
