Several shots show a pageant taking place in the main square Locarno; nice opening shot of curtains strung between two buildings being drawn aside to show the pageant coming down the street towards the square. Lots of girls prance about with tambourines; tumblers do cartwheels and there is lots of folk dancing, float pulling and general merriment. A large crowd watches.
