Great Hall at Westminster - Beefeaters and Royal Guards stand to attention. Large funeral procession. Men of the Royal Navy lead the gun carriage out of the gates of Buckingham Palace. M/S of the coffin draped with a flag. Queen Elizabeth II, the Queen Mother, Princess Margaret and the Princess Royal ride in the royal carriage. Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, the Duke of Gloucester, Duke of Windsor and Duke of Kent follow. They walk slowly behind the royal carriage. The next column of mourners includes the King's personal naval aide Earl Mountbatten of Burma. Large crowds of the public stand and watch the procession. The parade passes through Parliament Square and Whitehall towards the Cenotaph. Top shot of the parade as it passes the Cenotaph. High angle shot of the parade passing by large crowds as it processes down a large street. Lower angle of the gun carriage as it crosses Horseguards Parade. The coffin is draped with the Royal Standard and bears the crown, the orb and the sceptre. The Sovereign Standard is borne by a Warrant Officer of the Household Cavalry. M/S of the royal carriage. High angle shot of the parade and pan of the crowd of spectators. Windsor Castle - L/S. M/S of men of the Royal Navy and men of the Royal Fusiliers (?) march past camera - faces seen. Mounted Warrant Officer of the Household Cavalry seen in M/S flanked by Officers and a Trumpeter. The Queen's carriage drawn by two Windsor Grey horses. Large number of Household Cavalry pass the camera on horseback. M/S of two flags flying above Windsor Castle. The Royal Standard and the Union Jack. L/S of the Cambridge Gate as the procession passes through. High angle of the parade. Grand eloquent speech on the soundtrack about the love of the people for the King. Rulers of many countries attend the funeral including the King of Sweden, King of Denmark, Queen Juliana of Holland and the King of Iraq. Presidents of France, Turkey and Yugoslavia. We see these processing from a high angle. L/S of the parade and mourners in the grounds of Windsor Castle. C/U of windows of the chapel. Call to the people to "strive to make our young Queen's reign prosperous and great." Tilt up to the top of the chapel. L/S of the front of the chapel. L/S of corner of the chapel then pan across.
