| Description: | THE GRAND SLAM SLIDERS Ride on Log chute "Airway Glider": pan on a sort of swing hanging from pulley which goes sliding down a cable over water to a ship anchored in remote area w/ rocky shore. Wide shot looking across valley at another "cable car" which swings across the valley carrying lumber. Closer shot of the "car" filled w/ stacked boards approaching. Shot looking down timber chute; split logs are sliding down water-filled chute; a man stands at side of chute, coiling a rope. Shot taken while riding down the chute, looking at the back of another cameraman standing just in front and cranking away like mad. Then film that the guy in front shot: tracking shot sliding down the chute; they are travelling at a fairly fast speed, and there seems to be a sheer drop-off on the side. Wide shot looking across valley; the chute curves around and goes across the BG; it is built up high on scaffolding and one can see that it is indeed a long way down. Cut to another shot looking ahead at chute while sliding down it high above the forest floor. Tracking shot from a ways back on the chute looking ahead at the 2 cameramen riding standing up. Shot from side looking at 3 guys go zooming across a part of the chute which is horizontal, like a bridge; of this crew the man in the middle is standing up filming w/ his hand-cranked camera, and the other 2 sit in front and in back of him.
