More horses being led along street, coming around corner; more chaotic feeling. Wide shot looking out over area crammed w/horses and humans; tall trees in BG. MS horse dealer w/some shaggy ponies; dealer wears black hat w/low crown, rather wide curved brims, and 2 ribbons hanging down the back.of course all the BG is full of more people & horses. MS a man talking w/same horse dealer; they go through a complex ritual of hand clasps and claps. Man jogs down the street leading a horse he has just purchased; a few other men watch, incl a soldier. MCU 3 men at the fair stand talking; they are wearing same type of hats w/ribbons hanging down. MS 3 men stand under tree talking. (May be related to the annual event in which the Breton Salt Collectors "Paludiers" race on their working ponies.) | |
