Watson hurries into dressing room. Dresser takes his coat, helps him take off his jacket, vest, tie. Watson sits at dressing table w/ mirror, begins to put on theatrical make-up; he is going to impersonate George Robey. CU Watson makes up, drawing lines on his face, etc. He puts on wig w/ false forehead attached, blends edge w/ makeup. MLS Watson stands, dresser assists him w/ costume, a long jacket, and brings him a drink. CU Watson drinking dark beverage from glass. MLS dresser hands Watson his cane, he exits. Next, Watson in costume as another entertainer, Harry Weldon, wearing top hat and tails, different type wig and make-up. He stands up, does a little dance step, tips his hat. MCU Watson putting on stage make-up again; this time heÆs in drag. Title mentions Fred Emney, and the role of ôMrs. Mayö. Watson ties on a rather ugly little bonnet, turns to camera, doing impersonation, w/ silly facial expressions, etc. This story, originally in Tin 51, is now with Tin 56 or 57. | |
