	Description:	Santa comes by minicar to place the star on top of the National Christmas Tree on the White House lawn. The tree, a 70 foot beauty, is lighted as part of President Johnson's annual "Pageant of Peace." Washington DC - The White House Lawn The National Christmas Tree is shown with a network of scaffolding around it. A man dressed in a Santa costume pulls up to the tree in a Corvette mini-car holding a tree top star. Holding the star in the air, he waves it around in a jolly fashion, and then begins ascending to the top. An attendant helps secure the star to the top of the tree.
