| Description: | Same as catalog # 312309 The New Tango is demonstrated by "Santos Casani the famous Teacher of Ballroom dancing". "Ever since the Prince of Wales returned from South America, the popularity of the Tango has been growing - it makes such a welcome change in rhythm." M/S of three couples dancing in the Pathe studio which is decorated with palms. "Here is the right promenade turn - done in 10 steps. When you finish you should be in exactly the same position as when you started. C/U of the feet of one of the couples. "This "floor" view shows in detail the position of the feet." Shot of the dancers' feet from underneath a glass floor to show the foot movements. "The left promenade turn is done in 8 steps", explains Santos Casani. "Don't forget to start sideways in line of dance." Camera follows the feet of the dancers. "Another "floor" view demonstrates exactly the relative positions of the feet." Worm's eye view from under the glass floor. An AMAZING piece of split screen filming shows the steps above the floor in synchronisation with the steps shot from under the floor. Highly bizarre! M/S of the three couples dancing again. End title reads: "If you would like printed "Tango" details free of charge send postcard to: - "Editor, Pathe's Eve's Film Review, 103, Wardour Street, London W1. "Service with the Cinema!" | |
