| Description: | "The Players at Work": Religious carvings created by artisans from the town of Oberammergau, Germany, famous for its great Passion Play performed every ten years; in fact these craftsmen also act in the play. Group of Bavarian artist-actors are seen at work - they are called the Oberammargau Players. LS looking through window or doorway at elderly man seated behind worktable, carving miniature figures. MCU same: he finishes carving a figure of one of the apostles and puts it in place in an arrangement depicting the Last Supper. He picks up another piece and gives it a finishing touch. Next MS another man stands at a table working on a project. CU he is putting finishing details on an intricate bas-relief also depicting the Last Supper. Next, CU of man named Anton Lang, the actor who plays the Messiah in the passion play. Title says "his features have especially fitted him for his part in the great religious play" MS Lang at work painting an incredibly elaborate crucifix carving. MLS he holds it up.
