Whitehaven, Lake District Prince Edward walks from a building dressed in miners' overalls towards the pit head. From inside there is shot across the lift shaft to the group waiting to descend. The lift descends supported by a mass of metal cables and chains. Next the Prince is seen walking back to change - he nods to the group watching. | |
