M/S of a group of men in long white robes and fezzes. They are milling about in an open square, around them rugs are draped over wracks. M/S of a crowd of Egyptian men and boys standing at the edge of a road, more look down from a high wall in the background. M/S of several young men in military uniforms and fezzes, they stand next to a large tent like structure made from embroidered rugs. M/S of the square, several men are squatting on the ground; they look as if they are about to lift two enormous rolls of carpet. L/S of a procession of men; some carry the tent like structure on their shoulders. In the background are the towers and domes of a mosque. Panning shot follows the procession, as it passes the high walls of a fortress. The tent structure is followed by several men riding camels. M/S of a group of Egyptian dignitaries standing in the doorway of a grand building (a palace?), many of them wear military uniforms and fez hats. The large man in white with a moustache is King Fuad.
