| Description: | The Radio Patrol - An Australian Sidelight. Melbourne, Australia. M/Ss of a smartly-dressed woman walking along a residential street. A car pulls up beside her, a man jumps out, pushes the woman over and steals her purse, then jumps back into the car and drives off. A man in the street rushes to help the mugged woman and says he'll ring the police. Various shots show a telephone operator receiving the call, then tapping out a message in Morse code on radio equipment that is received by a main in a police car. The police speed along the streets and head out towards the countryside to catch the robbers. After a brief car chase the two thieves are overpowered, arrested and have handcuffs slapped on them. | |
