| Description: | THE RIGHT HAT - AND THE WRONG WAY Great item showing the correct way for Madame to wear her titfer. "It isn't always the hat that looks "Just sweet" or "Too awful" ladies - frequently it's the way it's worn." LS 2 stylish women enter an upscale milliner shop and are greeted by the woman working there. She brings a cloche hat to show one of the ladies while her friend watches. The customer puts the hat on. MCU lady wearing the hat perched on top of her head instead of pulled down all the way, looks very silly and she is laughing. LS the milliner pulls the hat down & adjusts it on the customer's head. MCU hat worn the proper way, w/ the small brim nearly covering her eyes. Next, the other lady tries on a hat which the titles call "a dainty mauve pedal straw" It is a little hat w/ a wide curved turned up brim and a couple feathers sticking through at a downward angle on the side of the face. MLS she puts it on. MCU shot showing both the woman and her reflection in the mirror, hat is sitting up on top of her hair and sort of tilted forward. She gasps, putting her hand up to her mouth, and looks really dismayed, then pouty. MS the expert comes to help, pulling the hat down snugly and tucking her hair back. MCU she admires herself in the mirror. MS the first lady tries on a hat w/ a very wide brim, but she puts it on tilted way up in front. Mlle milliner rolls her eyes in disbelief at this fashion foible. She adjusts the hat so that it is not tilted up, but slanting just a little to the side, a much more elegant look. | |
