Lydd, Kent L/S's of in standing up in several small tanks, the tanks jerk backwards and forwards numerous times, the soldiers hold onto and shake the reins attached to the tank as if they were controlling a horse ! L/S's of two tanks manoeuvring side by side while another tank behind (in a tank) holds onto reins and pretends to whip the tanks in front (like horses and chariots). L/S of tank driving up and over small ramp. Slow motion shot of the same action. "The Chariot Race.... shades of ancient Rome !" L/S's of soldiers in several tanks drawing to halt, a senior official order them out of the tanks, and they stand to attention, before climbing back in. | |
